A gem of a country pub on a quiet lane to nowhere, this long, white painted 15th Century drovers cottage, is perched on a grassy bank in the village of Newholm just a few miles from the coast.
Ye Olde Beehive Inne appears to have been a row of cottages, after the Coxwold architecture. It was originally a drovers inn when this part of the North Riding sent herds of cattle to York.
