The Maypole Inn stands on the edge of the village green in the heart of the picturesque village of Long Preston and is ideally situated for walking and touring holidays in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. We are close to many famous walks including the Three Peaks, Gordale Scar and Malham Cove.
The Inn has a long historic tradition starting in 1695 when Ambrose Wiggleworth opened the doors of the Maypole Inn to his first paying customers. Over three hundred years later we are still upholding the traditions of hospitality along with a varied menu, daily specials, and mouth-watering desserts. We also have a full children’s menu available.
Our restaurant can seat up to 50 people. There is further seating for 25 in the lounge and a further 20 in the tap room. With open fires in the winter months the atmosphere is enhanced to give a cosy feel to your stay. Outside seating for the summer months provides a view of Long Preston Moor.
