Tithe Bar

A pub serving food in Northallerton.

Market Town Taverns opened the Tithe Bar in 2001. The summer of 2012 saw the tavern undergo a refurbishment programme which resulted in a more stylish & contemporary look with greater focus on comfort. Situated in what was once the Thorn Gap, the building was originally a tithe barn for the Northallerton district. It was used to store wheat & agricultural produce paid as ' tithes' for the Bishopric of Durham.

Boltmaker 4.0 Timothy Taylor's Brewery

A well-balanced, genuine Yorkshire Bitter, with a full measure of maltiness and hoppy aroma – Boltmaker is first choice for the discerning drinker – on both sides of the Pennines.

Tasting Notes: Scent of citrus, fruit and spicy hoppy aroma. Tastes of roasted malt with a bitter finish.
