Kildare Lodge

A child friendly pub serving food and a garden in Minehead.

Situated in the lovely coastal town of Minehead, The Kildare Lodge Hotel, Restaurant and Public House is the perfect setting for a drink with friends, a quality bar/restaurant meal or as a base for a few days exploring the beautiful West Somerset area, including Exmoor.
The Kildare Lodge was built in 1907 and is a grade 2* listed building, designed by Barry Parker under the influence of the famous Victorian architect Sir Edwin Lutyens. It is one of only a few buildings of this style to be open to the public as a hotel. See our 'Kildare History' page for details.
The bar and restaurant areas have recently been redesigned and decorated to make better use of the unusual design of the building. Visitors can choose to enjoy a meal in the new restaurant area or in the bar area as they wish.
