A 15th century, grade II listed country pub in the beautiful Shropshire countryside. Situated within the Shropshire Hills – Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, just south of Shrewsbury and near to the Long Mynd and The Stiperstones, this is excellent walking and cycling country.
The Inn offers a range of local guest ales together with a list of quality Tanners wines and champagnes. Our ethos for our food is to deliver quality, freshly prepared food and wherever possible, locally sourced.
After an extensive refurbishment, the business re-opened on 1st June 2012. We have endeavoured to create a relaxed and friendly atmosphere at our country inn and visitors and ‘locals’ alike are sure of a warm welcome at The White Horse Inn.
The Inn is situated in Castle Pulverbatch, well placed for safe off road walking, horse riding, mountain biking, golf and many other countryside activities. We are within 15 minutes of getting into Shrewsbury town centre and only 11 miles from Bishops Castle, and there is a bus stop right outside the front of the inn.
