Brains Bitter 3.7 S.A Brain & Co Ltd

Brewed continuously since the company was founded in 1882, Brains Bitter is a crisp, honest beer with golden amber hues and a fruity, hoppy flavour. A truly popular pint, it's genuinely stood the test of time.

Tasting Notes: The famous ‘pint of Brains’ is rich amber coloured, well balanced and refreshing. Goldings and Fuggles hops from The Welsh Marches create an appetising crisp aroma to complement the subtle flavour of fine pale malt. Crystal clear water combines with the unique Brains yeast to create the complete Welsh beer experience.

Pedigree 4.5 Marstons

Pedigree. Now with added personality. They haven’t changed the taste. Just how it looks. So welcome to the new-look Pedigree, or “P” as it was first known. Strange that, looking back.

Tasting Notes: Anyway, it has a fascinating aroma, with a palate of biscuit malt, spicy hops and light fruitiness. It was renamed in a staff competition back in George Peard’s day. He was the Head Brewer at the time – that’s him on the clip. Cheers George.
