Just over the road from New Douglas Park, home of Hamilton Academical Football Club - the Accies to their fans - this popular meeting place is a pub that takes its sport seriously. The regulars all have their favourites seats around the big circular bar where they engage in lively banter with the friendly staff. It's a busy daytime bar, a hit especially with horseracing fans as well as commuters using the nearby Hamilton West train station, that attracts a 40-plus crowd during the week and more mixed bunch at weekends, all of them enjoying a warm welcome over a Belhaven Best.
