Welcome to The Boat Inn

The Boat Inn, built at the same time as the Staffs and Worcs Canal in 1779 and is one of the old ‘Gateways’ to the Village, for many years it was the first or last stopping point, as locals and visitors traveled along the Cannock Road.

The Boat Inn, has been a place to eat and drink for almost 250 years – and we want to continue in this tradition, to give customers a rewarding experience; great beers, wines and spirits, excellent food and service in a warm and inviting atmosphere.
