Welcome to the Waggon and Horses situated on the main A525 Keele Road on the outskirts of Newcastle Under Lyme town centre.
Our aim is to serve great food and drink in a safe, friendly environment. We are a traditional local community pub serving delicious home cooked food and a great selection of beers, lagers, wines, spirits and soft drinks. Our aim is to always provide a warm welcoming atmosphere.
We are Cask Marque Approved and stock 5 cask ales; Abbot Ale, Pedigree, Timothy Taylor, Old Golden Hen and Titanic Plum Porter. We also stock 3 lagers; Carling extra cold, San Miguel and Stella. Our range also includes M&B dark mild, Stowford press, Strongbow Dark Fruits draught cider and Aspells and Magners bottled cider. Tea and coffee is always available and we have a great selection of wines and soft drinks.
We also have a book corner where customers can donate books or take them away to read for a donation to the Douglas Macmillan charity. We have a comfortable lounge that serves as a dining room at lunchtime and early evening, a public bar with 2 televisions and we also have a beer garden with a retractable canopy which also serves as the outside smoking area.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
