Molly Malones

A child friendly bar serving food with Sky TV in Stirling.

With shamrock shapes cut into the cornicing above you, staff with genuine Irish accents and a selection of your favourite Irish drinks behind the bar, Molly Malones celebrates the life and culture of Ireland at every turn.

It's a busy, lively and friendly place, popular with a real cross-section, whether it's the rugby fans enjoying Sky Sports on seven TV screens or the students, lawyers, workmen and young mothers who call in for a good chat. There's a quiz on a Monday, games of Jenga on Tuesday and live music - often with a traditional Irish flavour - Friday to Sunday.

On colder days, you can warm yourself up in front of a real fire and, being all one level, it has good access for people with disabilities, and children are welcome until 9pm.

Drink % Brewery
Birra Moretti 4.6 Heineken

The ultimate Italian lager since 1859, Birra Moretti’s special blend of high quality hops creates a smooth, full bodied beer with wholemeal bread top notes which are cut by a delicate citrus note.

Tasting Notes: It is a bottom fermented beer with a golden colour. This colouring is a result of the type of malt used in brewing. Its alcohol content is 4.6% alcohol by volume. It is not a strong beer and is therefore perfect for drinking at lunch, at dinner or for evenings out with friends

Cruzcampo 4.4 Heineken

Cruzcampo is a pilsner style Spanish lager founded in Seville in 1904. Brewed with subtle hoppy notes, fruity characteristics and finished with Cruzcampo bitterness. It’s a fresh, crisp, easy drinking beer and a favourite amongst Spanish locals.

Tasting Notes:

Guinness Draught 4.2 Diageo

Rich and creamy. Distinctive, Ruby Red colour. Velvety in its finish. This iconic beer was developed in 1959 and launched as a celebration of the 200 years anniversary of Arthur Guinness signing his 9,000-year lease.

Tasting Notes: Aroma: Sweet smelling with a coffee and malty nose
Flavour: Perfect balance of bitter and sweet with malt and roast characters Palate: Smooth, creamy and balanced

Schiehallion 4.8 Harviestoun Brewery

Like the famous mountain it takes it’s name from, Schiehallion brings intense reward for the sort who like to plant their flag at the very top.

Tasting Notes: The perfectly paired combination of wheat malt and lager malt is our secret for this ‘Champagne of Lagers’, providing an elegant head, luscious lacing and crisp palate. A lingering, fresh, grapefruity finish from the whole pressed hop cones tops it off.

Magners Cider 4.5 Magners GB Limited

A blend of seventeen varieties of fresh apples to create the unique taste of Magners Irish Cider.

Tasting Notes: Magners Irish Cider has a crisp, refreshing flavour and a natural authentic character.
