Drouthy's

A pub serving food with Sky TV in Glasgow.

"Cracking wee pub" located just off George Square. There's a touch of the Highland lodge about this busy city-centre bar with its wood-panelled walls, bookshelves and decorative antlers. It's a hit with a mixed group of people, ranging from local office workers taking advantage of the meal deals (check out "our menu's") to sports fans keeping abreast of the big-screen football, horseracing and other big fixtures, not to mention the younger crowd drawn to the Saturday-night DJ. There's been a bar on the site of Drouthy's for decades, which means there's a loyal band of friendly regulars too.

Drink % Brewery
Belhaven Best 3.2 Greene King PLC

A sweet malty beer with lots of caramel and toffee notes from the pale and crystal malts. Fresh dry hop taste and satisfying moderate bitter finish.

Tasting Notes: This Auburn coloured ale gets it's sweetness from the malt with a moderate bitter finish from the dry hops.

Birra Moretti 4.6 Heineken

The ultimate Italian lager since 1859, Birra Moretti’s special blend of high quality hops creates a smooth, full bodied beer with wholemeal bread top notes which are cut by a delicate citrus note.

Tasting Notes: It is a bottom fermented beer with a golden colour. This colouring is a result of the type of malt used in brewing. Its alcohol content is 4.6% alcohol by volume. It is not a strong beer and is therefore perfect for drinking at lunch, at dinner or for evenings out with friends

Guinness Draught 4.2 Diageo

Rich and creamy. Distinctive, Ruby Red colour. Velvety in its finish. This iconic beer was developed in 1959 and launched as a celebration of the 200 years anniversary of Arthur Guinness signing his 9,000-year lease.

Tasting Notes: Aroma: Sweet smelling with a coffee and malty nose
Flavour: Perfect balance of bitter and sweet with malt and roast characters Palate: Smooth, creamy and balanced

Tennent's Lager 4.0 Tennent Caledonian Brewery

Inspired by pilsner-style beers, Hugh Tennent embarked on a challenge in 1885 – to produce a delicious and refreshing Scottish lager that rivalled that of the amazing flavours he experienced in Bavaria. Hugh was a true innovator, and he produced something that, at the time, was considered a “madman’s dream”.

Tasting Notes: As well as a crisp, refreshing pint, Tennent’s lager is also vegan.

Inch's Medium Apple Cider 4.5 Heineken

When it comes to making Inch's, it's all about the little things: the craft, the care, the morning glare, and all that good stuff sunshine brings. That’s why we go big – really big – on perfecting those tiny details that all add up to a crisper, juicier cider.

Tasting Notes: Our Inch's Medium Apple Cider is a lightly sparkling cider with a fresh apple aroma – perfect for sunshine sipping. We make it using 100% British apples, grown within 40 miles from our Hereford mill. Every drop is crafted to strike that perfect balance between sweet and dry for lip-smacking refreshment.
