Traditional style bitter brewed using England’s oldest hop variety (Fuggles). This beer also uses the 60-year-old malted barley variety Maris otter, to create a beer that was typical of that ERA in terms of being dark and malt driven.

Tasting Notes: Truly complex beer that connoisseurs will enjoy. A roasty, somewhat salty aroma with a hint of fruit introduces a chocolate palate that’s very light textured for the strength. Hints of red fruit, coffee and spicy bitterness come through.

This Spring beer is a traditional bitter colour, its subtle malt flavour is complimented with a fine finish resulting from the use of Golding and Fuggles hops varieties.

Magpie is Brewed using the finest malted barley with added caramalt for sweetness, balanced with UK cascade and Amarillo for Subtle floral finish. We describe the beer as an English golden Ale.
