Owned by Jonny Nicholson and his partner Natalie, they recently bought the business and re-opened it in late November, having moved down the coast from running Southwold Pier. With his background owning two award-winning Suffolk restaurants previously (The George at Cavendish and The Carlton Manor, near Oulton Broad) and working around East Anglia and London for the likes of Marco Pierre White and Sir Terence Conran, Jonny is a talented and very experienced chef and restaurateur - together Natalie and he hope to make The Bell a successful business and a delightful asset to Saxmundham and the local dining scene.
