Lying close to the crossover of canal, railway and Watling Street, the pub attracts custom from all three transport modes. The building is a 1950s rebuild of much older pub. Pleasantly decorated, open plan interior with a range of seating. Pool and darts room to one side, and two bookcases offer an informal library. A small lawned beer garden leads down to canalside moorings.
