Dates back to the reign of King George III in the 18th Century. The original building is believed to have been a debtor’s prison. Although it is not clear exactly when the building became an Inn. The name comes from the “The Hole In The Wall” where visitors could pass food to the prisoners. We are a welcoming, family friendly pub in the heart of Chichester. We serve up fresh, hearty food daily, whilst showing the best of sport and live music.
