Taylor's on the Green

A pub serving food in Keighley.

The Lord Rodney is stylish, sophisticated and vibrant - Keighley's premium bar and Kitchen is the place for drinking and dining. Being the oldest of the Keighley inns still surviving to this day, it was originally known as 'The olde red lion', being renamed in 1780 after the victory of Lord Rodney over the Spanish fleet at Cape St Vincent. The Lord Rodney was acquired by Timothy Taylor's and refurbished to its current layout reopening in June 2008.

Boltmaker 4.0 Timothy Taylor's Brewery

A well-balanced, genuine Yorkshire Bitter, with a full measure of maltiness and hoppy aroma – Boltmaker is first choice for the discerning drinker – on both sides of the Pennines.

Tasting Notes: Scent of citrus, fruit and spicy hoppy aroma. Tastes of roasted malt with a bitter finish.

Dark Mild 3.4 Timothy Taylor's Brewery

A 3.4% dark ruby beer with roasted notes and a smooth, creamy taste. A favourite of lovers of a good mild. Especially popular in East Lancashire and loved as a guest further afield. One of the finest Dark Yorkshire Milds still in Independent production.

Tasting Notes: Bittersweet and tasty, with hints of blackcurrant layered through soft, dark flavours of roasted malt.

Golden Best 3.4 Timothy Taylor's Brewery

The last of the true Pennine light milds. A crisp, amber coloured beer that makes a refreshing session ale. The smooth and creamy flavour makes it a popular choice close to the brewery, and increasingly in destination pubs across the country.

Tasting Notes: A light mild with a delicate balance of subtle flavours. An easy drinking beer with light floral notes and a smooth, creamy body.

Knowle Spring 4.2 Timothy Taylor's Brewery

Knowle Spring Blonde is a full-bodied blonde beer brewed with Golden Promise barley malt, Strisselspalt hops from Alsace, and UK-grown Minstrel, Cascade and Chinook hops. A light, refreshing blonde ale with the depth of flavour you expect from Taylor’s beers.

Tasting Notes: An easy-drinking beer with floral and grapefruit aromas, spiced orange on the tongue followed by aromatic citrus hop flavours to finish.

Landlord 4.3 Timothy Taylor's Brewery

The drinkers' favourite, a 4.3% classic pale ale with a complex citrus and hoppy aroma

Tasting Notes: A strong classic ale with a golden amber colour. It has a scent of caramel, light fruits and roasted malt hints.
