The Pheasant is a pub formerly known as The Crispin Inn, dating back to the 15th century and steeped in history with our upstairs function room, formerly known as the Shoemaker's Hall. We are a characterful, atmospheric, cosy pub, sympathetically restored to a modern, stylish, country feel with open brick walls and exposed beams with a log burner. Beautiful golden color with a mildly bitter taste and cheerful character. Tasting Notes:
	Birra Moretti	4.6	Heineken
The ultimate Italian lager since 1859, Birra Moretti’s special blend of high quality hops creates a smooth, full bodied beer with wholemeal bread top notes which are cut by a delicate citrus note. Tasting Notes: It is a bottom fermented beer with a golden colour. This colouring is a result of the type of malt used in brewing. Its alcohol content is 4.6% alcohol by volume. It is not a strong beer and is therefore perfect for drinking at lunch, at dinner or for evenings out with friends
	Bitter & Twisted	3.8	Harviestoun Brewery
Bitter & Twisted was allegedly named after the brewer’s wife. A refreshingly lively blonde beer with a tingly, lemony finish, it goes down a whole lot better than his little joke did. Tasting Notes: There’s some caramel malt in here for a hint of sweetness, along with a few oats to add some body to the brew. And that beautiful, fruity aroma you’re getting comes from a delicate balance of Hersbrucker, Celeia, Perle and Bobek hops. This is the connoisseur's session beer par excellence.
	Coast to Coast	4.6	Caledonian Brewery - CLOSED
From the hot bed of the West Coast hop scene to the Eastern Shores, comes this pioneering American Style Pale Ale. Combining six hops from the Yakima Valley with their very own East Coast Maritime malt. Tasting Notes: A polished bronze ale with piny, soft fruit and citrus aromas all with a hint of spice. The taste is hoppy, with luscious lime, passion fruit and some kiwi-fruit notes. With a smooth, rounded and bitter yet tantalisingly zesty finish.

	Sharp's Doom Bar Amber Ale	4.0	Sharp's Brewery Ltd
Doom Bar is a perfectly balanced beer combining subtle yet complex flavours, Doom Bar is both satisfying and deliciously moreish. Tasting Notes: “The aroma of Doom Bar combines an accomplished balance of spicy resinous hop, inviting sweet malt and delicate roasted notes. The mouth feel is a perfectly balanced and complex blend of succulent dried fruit, lightly roasted malty notes and a subtle yet assertive bitterness. The bitterness remains into the finish with dry fruity notes which implore the drinker to go back for more.” Stuart Howe, Head Brewer.
	Symonds Founders Reserve	4.5	Heineken
Symonds Founder's Reserve is a distinctive premium cider at 4.5% abv. Tasting Notes: Blended from the finest Herefordshire apples including Dabinett & Michelin varietals; resulting in a characteristically fresh, crisp, fruity cider, with a high degree of complexity and depth of character coupled with Symonds rich heritage from a golden age of traditional Hereford cider making.
