Betty Stogs 4.0 Skinner's Brewery

A quirky character yes, from Cornish folklore, Betty Stogs was reputedly full-bodied, golden-hearted and just a little fruity. So, you can see why we chose to name our award-winning, smooth-drinking amber ale after her.

Tasting Notes: With whole-flower Celeia, Northdown and Aurora hops alongside malted barley and wheat, this is a Cornish twist on a classic smooth-drinking ale. The light malty aroma leads to a floral, even cedar taste, and a sharp tang of bitter grapefruit leaves a lasting impression; just like Betty herself…

Sharp's Doom Bar Amber Ale 4.0 Sharp's Brewery Ltd

Doom Bar is a perfectly balanced beer combining subtle yet complex flavours, Doom Bar is both satisfying and deliciously moreish.

Tasting Notes: “The aroma of Doom Bar combines an accomplished balance of spicy resinous hop, inviting sweet malt and delicate roasted notes. The mouth feel is a perfectly balanced and complex blend of succulent dried fruit, lightly roasted malty notes and a subtle yet assertive bitterness. The bitterness remains into the finish with dry fruity notes which implore the drinker to go back for more.” Stuart Howe, Head Brewer.

Sharp's Original Exceptional English Ale 4.4 Sharp's Brewery Ltd

Sharp''s Own (sometimes known as Sharp''s Original) was the first beer ever brewed commercially by Sharp''s Brewery.

Tasting Notes: "Rich roasted and malty notes are key to the aroma of Own with some light hop tones. The mouthfeel is full of malty sweetness complemented by a good measure of hop bitterness. The sweet and malty finish is lingering but not satiating. This is a product packed with flavour." Stuart Howe, Head Brewer
