The Deck

A dog friendly bar with Sky TV and WiFi in Perranporth.

The Deck is a Freehouse and has been pulling pints in Perranporth since 1984. It has changed and grown with the town, it now sits at the heart of the community and is well known for great fun nights.

We have Free Pool on a Monday Night and Karaoke on Wednesdays, as well as occasional Live Bands. We have a state of the art Jukebox, you can control from an App with a Bose sound system to make sure the place keeps rocking, the Pool Table is always busy too.
As we have two bars, upstairs and down as well as the balcony (great for people watching and checking the surf) we can have two types of nights at the same time! Pumping tunes with a dance floor and disco lights in one bar and chilled out relaxation on the other, all depends on who's in and everyone's mood, no two nights are the same!

We pride ourselves on the quality of our beer and Real Ales from St Austell Brewery here in Cornwall and a great Cocktail Menu to check out too!

With a 150” HD Screen Upstairs we can also show Live Sport, Surfing & Skate Films or whatever takes everyone's fancy, including Live Surfing events from around the world. Check out our Facebook page or here to see what's happening.

BYO Food, We supply the Pub you bring the Grub, we can even offer you plates, napkins, cutlery and condiments to make it easy!

Sharp's Atlantic Pale Ale 4.5

Atlantic is a deep golden colour. The aroma of Pale Ale is a blend of stunning citrus notes, juicy tropical fruits and fresh-picked hops with a touch of candy floss. The finish is sweet at first becoming dry and lingering with hop zest.

Tasting Notes:

Alpacalypse Session IPA 4.3 SALT Beer Factory

Juicy, hazy and anything but ordinary! Salt’s Alpacalypse beer delivers big flavour in a laid-back format. This tropical session IPA is brewed with a punchy US hop bill, dialled-in haze, and a soft, pillowy body that makes it all too easy to go back for more. At 4.8%, it’s bold enough to stand out but sessionable enough for any occasion.

Tasting Notes:

Camden Stout 4.0 Camden Town Brewery

It's okay to be big headed. Especially when it comes to Stout. We use nitrogen bubbles to give our smooth stout it's thick, creamy head and fresh finish. Packed full of character, this is our fresh take on a classic style. So, in the spirit of being big headed, we think it's the finest stout in the land.

Tasting Notes:

Madrí Excepcional 4.6 Molson Coors

Full of flavour and aroma with a light golden colour. Crisp, clean and refreshing, Madri Excepcional has a smooth, well-rounded taste profile with a short, bitter finish.

Tasting Notes:

Pravha 4.0 Staropramen

Pravha was created by the legendary brewers of Staropramen, who were inspired to create a lighter tasting pilsner.

Tasting Notes: Pravha was created by the legendary brewers of Staropramen, who were inspired to create a lighter tasting pilsner.

San Miguel 5.0 Carlsberg Marstons Brewing Company

San Miguel is brewed using a special mashing process which gives the beer a fuller and slightly sweeter flavour. The unique recipe and San Miguel yeast then come together to deliver a refreshing, full bodied beer with a great taste.

Tasting Notes: San Miguel is a pale blonde Spanish pilsner style lager, with a hoppy, citrus aroma, and hoppy zesty fruity flavours with a full flavoured hoppy lingering finish. San Miguel is well suited to tapas style food, cured meats, hams and cheeses

Sharp's Doom Bar Amber Ale 4.0 Sharp's Brewery Ltd

Doom Bar is a perfectly balanced beer combining subtle yet complex flavours, Doom Bar is both satisfying and deliciously moreish.

Tasting Notes: “The aroma of Doom Bar combines an accomplished balance of spicy resinous hop, inviting sweet malt and delicate roasted notes. The mouth feel is a perfectly balanced and complex blend of succulent dried fruit, lightly roasted malty notes and a subtle yet assertive bitterness. The bitterness remains into the finish with dry fruity notes which implore the drinker to go back for more.” Stuart Howe, Head Brewer.

Sharp's Offshore Pilsner 4.8 Sharp's Brewery Ltd

Offshore Pilsner is inspired by those rare moments when the wind turns offshore to create perfectly clean waves and that feeling of cool, refreshing sea spray on your face. They decided to try and put that feeling in a can.

Tasting Notes: Well... not the sea spray, more the Czech yeast and continental hops that create this refreshing pilsner that’s as satisfying as that perfect wave. Well almost.

Sandford Devon Scrumpy Still Cider 6.0

A Still, Medium-Dry Cloudy Cider from Devon. A Full-Bodied Characterful Flavour with a Rich Apple Taste and Satisfying Bite and Finish.

Tasting Notes:

Rekorderlig Strawberry-Lime 4.0 Rekorderlig Cider
