Ghost Ship 4.1 Adnams

Ghost Ship is inspired by one of Adnams’ most haunted pubs in one of the UK’s most haunted villages, the Bell at Walberswick. It's a Pale Ale with a pithy bitterness and a malty backbone.

Tasting Notes: This is a Pale Ale with a pithy bitterness and a malty backbone. Brewed with a selection of malts – Pale Ale, Rye Crystal and Cara – Adnams use Citra and a blend of other American hop varieties to create some great citrus flavours

Gulp IPA 4.8 Frome Brewing Company

Gulp IPA 4.8% English IPA

Tasting Notes: Gulp by name, gulp by nature. This light, amber-coloured English style IPA rarely stays long in the glass such is its appetising appeal on the palate. Light but assertive notes of peach and grapefruit drift by on the nose, suggestive of a beery fruit salad, and then each gulp reveals orange or maybe tangerine fruitiness, a hint of pepperiness alongside a juicy bittersweetness before the bracing dryness and bitterness in the finish. A thoughtful and subtle beer that demands much contemplation with each gulp.

Otter Bright 4.3 Otter Brewery

Otter Bright was one of the original really pale beers. ‘Bright’ made her debut in the summer of ’96 but has since earned a regular place in the full time line up.

Tasting Notes: A refreshing beer brewed with lager malt and a single hop, Fuggles, with an amazingly fruity taste and hoppy/lager finish. This beer is as pale as lager and has even converted a few lager drinkers!

Ruddles Best 3.7 Greene King PLC

Hoppy citrus undertones, balanced with bitterness and light sweetness. Packed with soft fruit aromas.

Tasting Notes: Chestnut Brown in colour with hoppy citrus undertones and soft fruit aromas.

Sharp's Doom Bar Amber Ale 4.0 Sharp's Brewery Ltd

Doom Bar is a perfectly balanced beer combining subtle yet complex flavours, Doom Bar is both satisfying and deliciously moreish.

Tasting Notes: “The aroma of Doom Bar combines an accomplished balance of spicy resinous hop, inviting sweet malt and delicate roasted notes. The mouth feel is a perfectly balanced and complex blend of succulent dried fruit, lightly roasted malty notes and a subtle yet assertive bitterness. The bitterness remains into the finish with dry fruity notes which implore the drinker to go back for more.” Stuart Howe, Head Brewer.

Wainwright Gold 4.1 Wainwright

An exquisitely, golden ale, named after Alfred Wainwright, the renowned Lakeland author who was born in Blackburn.

Tasting Notes: Wainwright is a refreshing golden ale with subtle sweetness from the Maris Otter malts and the special mix of hops give a delicate citrus fruit overtone. Voted World’s Best Golden Ale at the World Beer Awards.
