Welcome to the Hare and Hounds! Situated in Blean on the outskirts of Canterbury on the main road to Whitstable, we offer a family friendly attitude towards our guests and provide a home cooked style menu as well as baguettes, sandwiches, salads and a vegetarian option cooked to order by our French head chef, Adam.
We use the finest locally sourced produce and meat and even have our own chickens that provide us with a daily batch of fresh eggs! We have a dedicated lunch menu that is available from 12pm to 3pm, Monday to Saturday and we do evening meals from 6pm to 9pm, Thursday to Saturday. Our menu changes every month so please check out the restaurant section for our latest menu.
We serve a range of locally produced real ales and have a massive beer garden for your enjoyment in the warmer months! We also have an outside bar and hog roast available for private functions or why not dine in our restaurant for that special occasion or just to catch up with old and new friends. Ramblers can come and park in our 50+ car park before coming in to rest after there walk. 1 of the many walks around Blean even starts in the corner of our car park!
