Bath Best Bitter 4

A fine example of a English best bitter. A good balance of malt and hops. Sweet to the nose with a bitter finish.

Tasting Notes:

Bath Star 4.5

Pale ale with amber malt a big hop finish from cascade hops.

Tasting Notes: Bath Star is a 4.5% abv golden brown bitter brewed from the finest Maris Otter malt and finished with cascade hops and is named after the breweries only pub The Star Inn, which has twice been Baths Campaign for Real Ale Pub of the Year.

Bellringer 4.2

Award Winning Bellringer is a clean tasting, golden bitter with a refreshingly hoppy finish.

Tasting Notes: Notably hoppy ale which is light to medium-bodied, clean-tasting, refreshingly dry, with a balancing sweetness. Citrus, pale malt aroma and dry, bitter finish. Consistent. Amber gold in colour.

Black Friar 5.3

Produced from the finest English malt available, Maris Otter.

Tasting Notes: Produced from the finest English malt available, Maris Otter, plus a mixture of roasted Chocolate malts and finished with Northdown and Bramley Cross hops. Very dark and extremely satisfying.

Chorister 4.5

Warm, malty, chestnut ale with balanced bitterness delivered by Bramling Cross hops.

Tasting Notes: A well balanced 4.5 % abv brown malty ale brewed with local Wiltshire Maris Otter malt and finished with Fuggles hops.

Maximus 5

Initially brewed to celebrate our first ten years of brewing but now brewed by demand by bath''s pub landlords!

Tasting Notes:

Mild 4

Mild is traditionally the month that Camra promote Mild and they like to offer their support when they can and produce a 4.0% abv dark Mild for May.

Tasting Notes: Mild doesn''t necessary mean week: it means ''not bitter''. Many Milds are indeed low gravity, but the most important characteristic of this style is that is has a low hop rate which makes it rounder, normally slightly sweeter, and distinctly less bitter on the palate and in aroma than more highly hopped bitters. Usually but not always Mild is darker in colour than bitter.

Resurrection 4.6

Golden Ale that was brewed as an Easter guest beer but due to popularity became permanent.

Tasting Notes:

Salvation 4.8

Premium bitter initially brewed as a special in 2004 but has appeared occasionally since.

Tasting Notes:

Somerset Ale 3.8

Classic amber in colour, a full bodied malty ale with hints of caramel balanced with a hoppy and floral finish.

Tasting Notes: Malty, caramel, hoppy, floral

Steeple Jack 4.7

Premium bitter originally brewed for the Bath Beer Festival 2004 to commemorate the brewery's 7th anniversary.
