Balthazar Restaurant

A restaurant serving food in London.

Welcome to Balthazar Restaurant, London.

In the heart of Covent Garden, Balthazar is open all day, seven days a week, serving breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner, as well as an amazing weekend brunch.

Great French bistro food, good wine and friendly service are the order of the day. Balthazar’s Boulangerie next door serves homemade artisan breads, pastries, salads and sandwiches to eat in, take away or have delivered.

Our private dining room is situated on the first floor above the main dining room, accessible either through the restaurant or a private entrance. The room has its own bar and lounge and seats up to 60 guests for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Guests can experience the same exceptional service, delicious food and ambient style of Balthazar in a more intimate setting. Antique timber floorboards, vintage wall sconces, an original pewter bar top and glass shades from Clignancourt, Paris creates an exclusive experience which we will ensure is tailored to your specific requirements.

Camden Hells Lager 4.6 Camden Town Brewery

Hells is the lovechild of their two favourite German beer styles - Helles and Pilsner. Clean, crisp and dry.

Tasting Notes: A classic lager that’s exactly what it should be: easy-drinking, crisp and dry with beautiful bubbles. Clean and refreshing with a dry hop finish, you can taste the great depth of flavour which comes from the long, slow maturation in tank. This is how a great lager should taste.

Camden Pale Ale 4.0 Camden Town Brewery

They crafted this beer to more British tastes. Made with American hops, it’s still got all the punch of a pale ale. Just less shouty.

Tasting Notes:

Guinness Original 4.2 Guinness

Swirling clouds tumble as the storm begins to calm.

Tasting Notes: Unmistakeably GUINNESS®, from the first velvet sip to the last, lingering drop. And every deep-dark satisfying mouthful in between.

Kronenbourg 1664 5.0 Heineken

Kronenbourg 1664's pleasure is in its light lemon and herbal flavours from the Alsace hops, and clean bittersweet finish.

Tasting Notes: This exceptional beer originated in Alsace in Eastern France and is brewed with the exclusive Strisselspalt hop, known as the caviar of hops, which gives it its unique aromatic and fruity flavour.
