Black Douglas 5.2

Black Douglas is a dark ruby coloured ale with a rich full bodied malt flavour and overtones of roast fruit. At an ABV of 5.2%, we believe this beer is a fitting tribute to the power and character of the great Knight.

Tasting Notes:

Border Gold Organic Ale 6.0

A premium light golden ale brewed from fully organic malt and hops. Malty with a tangy aftertaste provided by First Gold and New Zealand Pacific Gem hops. Available in bottles.

Tasting Notes: Malty, tangy

Dark Dunter 4.8

Watch out for this evil character…Borders legends say the Dunter, a malevolentred-capped goblin, inhabits ruined castles and guards the English-Scottish borders from intruders.

Tasting Notes: The truth of this legend will never be known, however, it is irrefutable that the Dark Dunter is bursting of oatmeal and chocolate aromas, complemented by dark roasted malts and a rich aftertaste.

Greenmantle 3.9

Greenmantle is a brown bittersweet ale, with excellent liquorice aromas and a smooth hoppy aftertaste.

Tasting Notes: Liquorice, hoppy

Hopopotamus IPA 3.8

This insanely dry hopped pale ale will blow your palate away with its extreme fruity and zesty hop flavour, and bitter punch.

Tasting Notes: Golden, tropical fruits and grapefruit might be a couple flavours you taste here.

Old Jock 6.7

For centuries the soldiers of the Highland and Lowland Regiments of Scotland have been referred to as "Jocks,” powerful fighting men who have won battle honours. Old Jock Ale reflects the strength and character of these men.

Tasting Notes: This dark red ale has a full-bodied flavour of malt on an excellent background of hop bitterness.

Scottish Oatmeal Stout 4.2

A classic example of a Scottish Oatmeal Stout

Tasting Notes: Rich flavours of Black Malt and Roasted Barley finished with the silkiness provided by the addition of Pinhead Oats. Hopped with Fuggles, First Gold, and Challenger.

The Ghillie 4.5

A copper coloured ale with glorious hop aroma and flavour from the addition of both UK and German hops.

Tasting Notes: Brewed with Optic and Crystal malts and hopped with Fuggles, First Gold, and Challenger, as well as late copper hopped with German Hallertau.
