The Bulls Head can easily be found at the core of the pedestrian shopping area of Marple. It is very much the heart and soul of the local community and popular with both regular customers and visitors to the area. It has an attractive frontage which dates back to 1700’s. There is a smoking shelter at the rear which opens up into the car park (8 cars). The open lounge has a darts and a dedicated entertainment area. It is well known locally for its weekly live entertainment and karaoke. During the week it also has bingo afternoons and regular darts and pub game competitions. To the rear it has a large patio which is a real sun trap in the summer and is a great place to people watch when you needs a break from shopping or discovering the local area. The Bulls Head sits in the middle of the village just off the main Stockport Road. It is surrounded by shops and local business’s and is part of the pedestrianised area. There is ample on street parking nearby. It is within easy reach of both the canals and country walks also only a short distance from Etherow country park and all of its amenities. The Bulls head has a pleasant traditional pub feel to it and well worth a visit whether you were after a good pint of ale or an evening’s entertainment.
