Bramble Stout 5.0

A fruitier version of Top Dog Stout.

Tasting Notes: The addition of blackberry juice adds a subtle sweetness to our regular stout.

Burton Bridge Bitter 4.2

Their flagship beer. Brewed to the same recipe for over 30 years.

Tasting Notes: A classic Burton style bitter with a distinctive Burton flavour.

Burton Festival Ale 5.5

Brewed for over 30 years, this beer was one of the original cast.

Tasting Notes: A classic strong ale brewed to supplement the lighter drinking session beers, it became a regular feature on the bar at the brewery tap as a 'One for the Road' beer to finish the night on.

Burton Porter 4.5

Originally brewed as 'something different' for a small beer festival.

Tasting Notes: At the time porter was rarely found in the Midlands, but soon became a firm favorite for those that fancy drinking something a little out of the ordinary.

Burton XL Bitter 4.0

Another of the early recipes for Burton Bridge Brewery. This beer has been brewed since the early 1980's and remains as popular as ever

Tasting Notes: XL being the Roman numerals for 40 depicts the A.B.V of 4.0% as well as the play on words as this beer truly excels.

Golden Bone 4.5

A golden ale in honour of Pickles the dog who found the Jules Rimet football world cup trophy in 1966.

Tasting Notes: Nose: Spicy fresh hops Taste: Lingering floral bitterness

Golden Delicious 3.8

Originally brewed for the Midsummer Leisure pubs for Midsummers Day in 1985. Then produced throughout British Summertime as 'Summer Ale'. It proved so popular that demand increased for it throughout the year.

Tasting Notes: Golden Delicious became the new name for this year round beer.

Santi-Freeze 4.5

This golden-coloured beer has strong, inviting hop aromas, leading to a full-bodied flavour and a dry, spicy, bitter finish, with hints of orange zest.

Tasting Notes:

Sovereign Gold 4.0

One of the newer style 'citrusy' beers, light and thirst-quenching.

Tasting Notes: Citrus

Stairway to Heaven 5.0

A beer that has grown in popularity over the past 12 months. It was originally brewed under license, but Burton Bridge obtained the trademark in 2004 to brew 'Stairway' in its own right

Tasting Notes: Although 5% it drinks as easily as a 4.2% so beware.

Top Dog Stout 5.0

Strong Chocolate malt nose and a malty taste with full-bodied rounded bitterness.

Tasting Notes:

XL Mild 4.0

The first of the Mild's brewed by Burton Bridge Brewery, following on from the success of the XL Bitter, the brewery was asked for a darker beer

Tasting Notes: Adapting the recipe slightly with the inclusion of caramel to darken the beer and produce a smoother flavour, XL Mild proved an immediate favourite.

Xthirsty8 4.0

Brewed for launch at the Derby CAMRA Beer Festival. This beer celebrates the link between Derby & Burton as made by the X38 express bus service.

Tasting Notes: Citrus hop aroma, Dry bitter finish
