The Chequers pub is set in the village of Fingest, in the beautiful Oxfordshire Countryside. Run by Emma and Jaxon who both have a real desire to maintain the traditional country pub experience. With real knowledge and vast experience of working with food, award winning chef Jaxon and his team provide a delicious menu which is based around fresh and locally sourced food.
The pub holds real warmth and character, with log fires burning, candles a light, fantastic cosy seating areas with their own little twist and traditional wooden beams running throughout the building.
Not only is the inside of the pub a great place to relax but the award winning garden will be sure to hold your attention, with beautiful flowers in the summer all grown by Emma and fantastic views of the surrounding countryside it’s a great place to come and relax with family and friends.
