The Inn itself dates back to 1739, when two separate dwellings were altered to make the one building as you see today. Back in December 2006 we had a chimney survey done here and found out that the design of the once communal chimney dates the original dwellings back to pre 1530. The Inn is said to have two resident friendly ghosts. In our bar we serve up to 7 real ales and have been awarded status of Rutland CAMRA Branch Pub Of The Year 2011.
