Crown & Sceptre

A dog friendly pub serving food with WiFi in City Of London.

Frazzled after a hard day at work? Or from pacing the boutiques of Fitzrovia? The Crown & Sceptre is the perfect place to lift those weary spirits. Our name may hint at aspirations for grandeur but we're a bit more of a Hat & Stick at heart - so relax on our comfy sofas and lap up the buoyant banter over a damn fine pint or glass of pinot noir.

Drink % Brewery
Asahi 5.0 Asahi

Light straw color with a large foamy white head. The aroma has rice, grassy hops, and grain.

Tasting Notes: Clean and crisp with a restrained bitterness and a subtle citrus aroma, this light golden beer was Japan''''s first "dry" lager. Its deft, distinct dryness comes from a carefully concise fermentation period, a minimum four week maturation period and the traditional addition of a small amount of rice. Fresh and with plenty of balanced finesse, it''''s an ideal accompaniment to the well-defined flavours and textures found in sushi.

Boltmaker 4.0 Timothy Taylor's Brewery

Boltmaker is a dependable, characterful Yorkshire bitter with an inviting copper-amber colour and gentle citrus and fruit aromas.

Tasting Notes: The flavour is smooth and rounded, led by biscuit-like malt notes and a clean, balanced bitterness.

Camden Hells Lager 4.6 Camden Town Brewery

Hells is the lovechild of their two favourite German beer styles - Helles and Pilsner. Clean, crisp and dry.

Tasting Notes: A classic lager that’s exactly what it should be: easy-drinking, crisp and dry with beautiful bubbles. Clean and refreshing with a dry hop finish, you can taste the great depth of flavour which comes from the long, slow maturation in tank. This is how a great lager should taste.

Guinness Draught 4.2 Diageo

Rich and creamy. Distinctive, Ruby Red colour. Velvety in its finish. This iconic beer was developed in 1959 and launched as a celebration of the 200 years anniversary of Arthur Guinness signing his 9,000-year lease.

Tasting Notes: Aroma: Sweet smelling with a coffee and malty nose
Flavour: Perfect balance of bitter and sweet with malt and roast characters Palate: Smooth, creamy and balanced

Naughty & Nice 5.9 Vocation Brewery
SXOLLIE Granny Smith 4.5 SXOLLIE Cider

The palest yellow of ciders with a fresh and bright acidity on the nose. This is a crisp, tart and refreshing beverage with a crunchy acidity that keeps you coming back for more. A delightful fizz carries the very fresh taste of apple skin through to the finish. For a light cider, this has depth and character.
