Earl Grey

A pub in Northfleet.

The Earl Grey at Northfleet has been a popular drinking place for more than 250 years. A former coaching inn, built around 1750, it is even said to have its own ghost, which sends glasses flying off shelves and makes objects disappear.

It is also home to four successful darts teams and a football team. The flint-fronted pub is proud to be old-fashioned and has featured in CAMRA’s Good Beer Guide for several years.

A small selection of wine is also available and outside there is a large garden, with a children’s play area. It is located a short drive from the centre of Gravesend and is just a 10 minute walk from the town’s railway station. Alternatively, many buses pass directly by on their way to Bluewater shopping centre.
