Long before it was a public house the GPO was a Royal Mail sorting office serving Eltham and its surrounding area, which is more than a little ironic as it is now, once again serving the community again in its role as an Antic pub.
The lovely venue is now open offering a selection of local and national ales, fine wines and spirits, with the kitchen opening shortly serving fresh, predominantly British dishes. It is planned for the pub to serve the community in a variety of ways from providing space for meetings and gatherings to celebrating some of the countries more traditional festivals and seasonal events.
