Essex Street Brewery @ temple Brew House

A brewery serving food with Sky TV in London.

– London's Most Central Brewery –
You can’t miss The Essex Street Brewery – built right at the heart of the pub in 2014, it’s the first thing you see as you walk down Essex Street.
Inside, our Head Brewer, Vanesa de Blas Montoya, toils daily to create great artisan beers for the good people of Temple. Exciting and easy on the palate, these hand-crafted beers travel just 15 feet from tank to glass and Vanesa is usually on hand to tell you more about them and what other brews are in the pipeline. Private tours take place monthly or on request, and you can even take home your own TBH pint glass or t-shirt as a souvenir.

Antipodes 4.3

Is made with hops from Australia and New Zealand, very aromatic but not over powering

Tasting Notes: Light on the palate,it’s an easy, sessionable beer, with a fruity aroma and a refreshing finish.

Dry Stout 0.0

Bitterness comes from both roasted barley and a generous dose of hops, though the roasted character will be more noticeable. With a nice creamy head and medium body is an easy drinking stout

Tasting Notes: Roasted malt and barley give it a full, toasty finish, medium dry with a medium body still easy to drink.

Gavel 4.2

Delicious hoppy American pale ale following the latest trend for american hops.

Tasting Notes: Very dry, crisp and light in colour, extremely refreshing with citrus notes.

M.A.C 0.0

Our GLUTEN FREE beer. Triple hopped with Mosaic, Amarillo and Citra but easy drinking, if you are a hophead this is not hoppy enough for you.

Tasting Notes: Nice hazy golden color, good mouthfeel and a fair amount of hops. Smell light with a mild hop profile. Moderate carbonation. Decent body.

Smoke House 4.4

this is a slightly smoky version of a traditional English porter.

Tasting Notes: It is dark brown, smooth and complex, but no overwhelming. Lovely beer.

TempAle 3.8

The quintessential English mid strength ale – a perfect balance of malt and subtle hops. All beers Brewed BY the Essex Street Brewery are vegan friendly.

Tasting Notes: This fine deep amber-coloured beer has a good bitter sweet balance, this beer has a subtle hop character described as citrus and spicy from Goldings and Fuggels. It’s a refreshing and very satisfying pint.
