Feathers Hotel

A child and dog friendly pub serving food with WiFi and a garden in Dersingham .

Welcome to The Feathers

Pub, Restaurant and Wedding Venue in Dersingham

The Feathers is located in the small Norfolk village of Dersingham, only one mile from the Royal Sandringham Estate. The pub itself is a carrstone building steeped in royal history. Formerly a coaching inn, The Cock was damaged by fire in the 1800's and was rebuilt and named The Lamb. Royal connections date back to 1882 when the hotel was purchased as part of the Sandringham estate for Albert Edward, Prince of Wales. It was subsequently renamed `The Feathers` in his honour.

The accommodation comprises a range of en-suite bedrooms and facilities for weddings, functions and events. You can dine in the two main bars, or if you prefer, eat alfresco on the patio. Outside there are two large landscaped gardens. The first garden offers ample seating and includes a fun play area for children. The second garden, named the Pond Garden, offers a quiet relaxed environment for adults, which also makes an ideal location for private functions.

We are accredited with the Cask Marque award for excellence in serving cask beer.

We look forward to seeing you soon...

Ghost Ship 4.5 Adnams

Ghost Ship is inspired by one of Adnams’ most haunted pubs in one of the UK’s most haunted villages, the Bell at Walberswick. It's a Pale Ale with a pithy bitterness and a malty backbone.

Tasting Notes: This is a Pale Ale with a pithy bitterness and a malty backbone. Brewed with a selection of malts – Pale Ale, Rye Crystal and Cara – Adnams use Citra and a blend of other American hop varieties to create some great citrus flavours
