Brewed continuously since the company was founded in 1882, Brains Bitter is a crisp, honest beer with golden amber hues and a fruity, hoppy flavour. Goldings and Fuggles hops from The Welsh Marches create an appetising crisp aroma to complement the subtle flavour of fine pale malt. Brawn has been specially brewed to celebrate the famous occasion in 2005 when Wales had to switch the branding on their match shirts from Brains to Brawn when playing in Paris to comply with French law on advertising alcohol at sporting events. Brains remains an official partner of the Welsh Rugby Union. Tasting Notes:

With the origins of its name shrouded in mystery, Brains SA has become an essential part of every Welsh celebration since it was first brewed in 1958. It has a fruity nose, a rich malty flavour and a satisfying spirit-like finish. Tasting Notes: Our renowned bitter is copper coloured and has a nutty richness derived from Pale and Crystal malts and three hops; Challenger, Goldings and Fuggles.
