Backhand 4.4

Brewed once a year to celebrate the great Britsh institution that is the All England Championships held at Wimbledon.

Tasting Notes: A cheeky little number combining Goldings, Cascade, Slovenian Goldings and Wolf Hops, along with four different malts and wheats, hopefully Backhand is a winner!

Beesting 4.5

A refreshing light golden honey brew, exhibiting a mellow sweetness, finely balanced against a subtle floral/honey aroma and flavour.

Tasting Notes: Beesting possesses a smooth hop bitterness imparted by the use of Challenger and Goldings, classic English hop varieties and Saaz from the Czech Republic, famous for its’ use in the brewing of fine Pilsner beers. Surprisingly easy to drink, Beesting has the moreishness expected of the Grainstore Brewery’s range of beers.

Cider 5.2

Made from 100% Great British apples, this stunning, well balanced golden coloured medium cider exhibits a well-rounded fresh and fruity taste and lovely apple aroma.

Cooking 3.6

A colloquial term for a session beer, Cooking is a smooth, full flavoured golden bitter which drinks better than its gravity, with a bitter-sweet balance and drinkability, so essential in a true session beer.

Tasting Notes: 

Daniel Lambert 4.3

A creamy, malty brew, rich with caramel and coffee notes. A deep, dark colour and roasted flavour, topped off with a thick light tan head.

Tasting Notes: Caramel, coffee, roasted

GB Best 4.2

It is lighter than other Grainstore beers, possessing a pronounced floral flavour and aroma. A well rounded beer with a satisfying, lingering aftertaste.

Tasting Notes: Floral, well rounded

Gold 4.5

A refreshing, light golden brew, whose flavour is a complex blend of mellow malt sweetness finely balanced against a subtle floral aroma and smooth bitterness.

Tasting Notes: As the name suggests it is a beautiful golden colour, and is best enjoyed whilst sitting in a beer garden during the summer.

Hornet 4.6

Made from 100% Great British apples, this stunning, well balanced golden coloured medium cider exhibits a well-rounded fresh and fruity taste and lovely apple aroma.

Tasting Notes: Hornet, joined their cider range at the end of the summer of 2014. At the weaker end of the cider abv scale, Hornet is a great session cider.

Lady in Pink 4.5

Picture yourself sitting in the garden, strawberries and cream in one hand, chilled, slightly sparkling fruity cider in the other! Lady in Pink was added as the thirst for fruitier ciders grew.

Tasting Notes: Made to our exacting recipe on a single farm in the heart of Cider country, Herefordshire, Lady in Pink is made from 100% Great British apples, this gorgeous fruity medium pink cider possesses an intense fruity aroma and drinkability making it the perfect addition to any bar or beer festival list.

Nip 7.3

Nip is an extremely well balanced blend of flavours, sweetness and bitterness complimenting each other. A true barley wine thats smooth and warming.

Tasting Notes: Sweet, bitter, smooth, warming

Phipps NBC - Ratliffe's Stout 4.3

The Ratliffes is a creamy, full bodied, malty brew, satisfyingly rich with distinct caramel and coffee notes.

Tasting Notes: A combination of the crystal and roasted malts give the stout its deep, dark colour and pronounced roasted flavour, topped off with a thick appetising light tan head.

Phipps NBC - Red Star 3.8

This is a deep red , nutty 3.8% bitter based on the old NBC recipe. Red Star is made with the traditional Mild Ale malt variety that was a staple of NBC bitters and milds in the 1950s.

Tasting Notes: 

Phipps NBC IPA 4.2

The classic blend of Goldings and Fuggles hops gives the characteristic English ale flavours to this full-bodied beer.

Tasting Notes: The balance of bitterness and sweetness, allied to a smooth hoppy after-taste, creates a most drinkable pint.

Red Kite 3.8

Red Kite is deep red in colour and is made using a traditional Mild Ale malt variety that was a staple of bitters and milds brewed in the Midland in the 1950’s.

Tasting Notes: Malty, Dried Fruit, Coffee

Rutland Beast 5.3

Rutland Beast is strong yet exceptionally balanced. Dark earthy brown in colour, its fantastic flavours blend together to produce a mind blowing great beer.

Tasting Notes: 

Rutland Bitter 3.4

Brewed using a combination of Maris Otter and Pale Ale Malts, this classic English Pale Ale, is infused with flavours and aromas drawn from a combination of Fuggles, Bramling Cross and Challenger hops, all sourced from a single Kentish farm.

Tasting Notes: Aroma: Citrus, Hoppy, Sweet Flavour: Hop Bitterness, Grapefruit, Moreish

Rutland Osprey 4.0

A refreshing light golden brew, whose flavour is complex and mellow with a finely balanced floral aroma and smooth bitterness.

Tasting Notes: Zesty, Sweet, Floral Hop Finish

Rutland Panther 3.4

A refreshing well balanced dark mild, whose chocolate and fruity flavours compliment its roasted long bitter finish. Primed using a combination of rich dark sugars, this beer is a taste sensation.

Tasting Notes: Chocolate, fruity, bitter

Springtime 4.5

A light, well balanced beer brewed by experts for experts. With a refreshing flavour to celebrate Springs awakening, Golding hops give this beer its prominent flavour and aroma.

Tasting Notes: Springtime was first brewed in 1998, and is a true celebration of Spring. Its fresh flavours are derived from the combination of Bramling Cross, Golding and cascade hops, whilst its distinctive colour and aroma are in part due to the use of Wheat alongside the Maris Otter and Pale Ale Malts.

Steelback IPA 4.2

The classic blend of Goldings and Fuggles hops gives the characteristic English ale flavours to this full-bodied beer. Based upon a recipe created in the late 1800’s.

Tasting Notes: Grapefruit, Zesty, Malty, Dry

Ten Fifty 5.0

A full strength mahogany coloured beer, which has a moreishness typical of a beer possessing the fine balance of pronounced hop bitterness & aroma against a natural malty sweetness, creating a deceivingly drinkable beer.

Tasting Notes: Hoppy, bitter, malty, sweet

Three Kings 4.5

This ruby red beer exhibits all the rich body and hoppy, wintry aromas of much stronger beers. Well matched to the season in which it is brewed.

Tasting Notes: 

Triple B 4.2

A smooth, well rounded mid strength beer, typical of a brew from the Grainstore Brewery. This beer exhibits a drinkability created by a unique balance of malt sweetness and the hoppy clean aftertaste.

Tasting Notes: Smooth, malty, sweet

Tupping Ale 4.5

A well hopped, russet coloured beer with strong floral hop notes easily recognised in the aroma. Characteristically autumnal and warming.

Tasting Notes: 

Zahara 4.2

An extra pale, extra hopped 4.2abv IPA, hopped with American Cashmere and Amarillo hops.
