Situated in the historic and beautiful village of Fletching, the Griffin is an inn with 13 bedrooms, all en suite of course and each having been individually and personally designed by the Pullan family who have owned The Griffin since 1979.
During that time, The Griffin has built a considerable reputation for its food and wine and people come from far and wide to eat from one of its two menus, one served in the restaurant, where reservations are taken and the other in the bar areas where it is "first come, first served". All the food for both menus, wherever possible, is locally sourced and cooked to order. The Griffin features prominently in the major gastronomic guides, including The Good Food Guide, The Good Pub Guide, The Michelin Guide and many others.
The Griffin has a large beautifully landscaped garden which includes a terrace area for outside eating, a large barbecue area and sloping lawns, all facing due west towards Sheffield Park.
