Grove Inn

A pub serving food in Huddersfield.

The Grove is about quality, be it beer, whisky, cider, gin, quirky and outrageous snacks, it's got to be good. The Grove is also about choice, and we have plenty of that, whether it's draught beers or cider, a whisky, a gin, a bottled beer, a snack, we have the best choice around!

Entertainment, well apart from the odd and quirky staff, there's live music during the week (see website events) and sometimes at weekends, and the occasional Meet the Brewer event, where you can have a taste and a talk by a great brewer.

The pub decor can be a little quirky, depending on your taste, some of us think it's quite normal. You might love us, you might loathe us, but there ain't anywhere else around like us!

Drink % Brewery
5AM Saint 5.0 Brewdog

Once this ruby liquid forms a foamy halo around your glass, you will never want to look back. Ingredients: water, barley, hops, yeast.

Tasting Notes:

Hardcore IPA 9.2 Brewdog

Pounding a triple payload of the biggest North American hops humanity has devised, braced by a backbone of caramel malt, this beer is deep, astringent and resinous, pushing to the extremes of lupulin threshold.

Tasting Notes:

Landlord 4.3 Timothy Taylor's Brewery

The drinkers' favourite, a 4.3% classic pale ale with a complex citrus and hoppy aroma

Tasting Notes: A strong classic ale with a golden amber colour. It has a scent of caramel, light fruits and roasted malt hints.

Punk IPA 5.6 Brewdog

This 5.6% trans-atlantic fusion IPA is light golden in colour with tropical fruits and light caramel on the nose.

Tasting Notes:

Sink the Bismarck 41.0 Brewdog

Sink the Bismarck is a quadruple IPA that contains four times the hops, four times the bitterness and frozen four times to create at a staggering 41% ABV.

Tasting Notes: A full out attack on your taste-buds ensues as the incredibly smooth liquid delivers a crescendo of malt, sweet honey, hop oils and a torpedo of hop bitterness which lasts and lasts.

Tactical Nuclear Penguin 32.0 Brewdog

Brewdog paradox which was aged for 9 months in a speyside cask then 9 months in a smokehead cask, then taken to an ice cream factory and frozen over the course of 2 weeks, then the non frozen liquid was drained off.

Tasting Notes:

Tokyo 18.2 Brewdog

An Imperial Stout brewed with copious amounts of speciality malts, jasmine and cranberries, dry-hopped with a bucket-load of our favourite hops and then carefully aged on toasted French oak chips.

Tasting Notes: Rich, smoky, fruity

Trashy Blonde 4.1 Brewdog

A titillating, neurotic, peroxide, punk of a pale ale. The seductive lure of the sassy passion fruit hop proves too much to resist. All wrapped up with the customary Brewdog bite and imaginative twist.
