A groundbreaking UK amber beer channelling the best of us session beer with a UK twist.
Tasting Notes: Peppery spice, hints of tropical fruit & chocolate digestive. On the palate the beer is dry and rich with a bitter roastiness and a long lingering finish
Bitter & Twisted was allegedly named after the brewer’s wife. A refreshingly lively blonde beer with a tingly, lemony finish, it goes down a whole lot better than his little joke did.
Tasting Notes: There’s some caramel malt in here for a hint of sweetness, along with a few oats to add some body to the brew. And that beautiful, fruity aroma you’re getting comes from a delicate balance of Hersbrucker, Celeia, Perle and Bobek hops. This is the connoisseur's session beer par excellence.
From the Scottish word BRAW (meaning super) this double IPA is not for the faint-hearted. Extra dry-hopped for maximum power this is a piney, citrus-led contradiction of power and elegance.
Tasting Notes: A hop BOMB with Strong pine and resinous tones on the nose swiftly followed by strong citrus and tropical fruit flavours. Powerful & playful in one mouthful this IPA has a long layered finish.
This gloriously amber coloured ale is made with what is often considered to be the finest hop on the earth, namely the Simcoe Hop. The result is a fantastically fruity finish with distinctly malty undertones.

Take a classic British porter, add locally grown Scottish chillies and you get this spicy, brooding monster.
Tasting Notes: This complex black ale combines rich coffee and chocolate flavours with a backbone of spice and heat. Rich chilli notes integrate to produce a robust- tasting but light bodied beer with a warm sweet finish.
Fit for a bard – Haggis Hunter is a blend of pale and crystal malts with floral spicy hops creating the perfect ale to complement a traditional spicy haggis.

Light-golden beer brewed from a mixture of lager and wheat malts and flavoured with four varieties of hops, which combine to make a very dry, almost citrus beer.
Tasting Notes:
A reworking of a classic. They’ve taken old engine oil black ale, reduced it to 4.5% and kegged it with nitrogen to produce a smooth, flavour packed nitro stout.
Tasting Notes: A remarkably smooth, creamy brew with a beautiful velvety mouthfeel. flavours of coffee, slightly buttered toffee and dark chocolate neatly accompanying the roasted flavours that ride with you all the way to the finish.
This amazing brew has been aged in selected oak casks formerly used to mature Highland Park 12 Year Old Single Malt Whisky, adding complementary whisky notes to this chocolatey, bittersweet beer.
Tasting Notes: Chocolate, bittersweet
Ola Dubh 12 YO CASK Sherry finished beer pours black with a modest spattered head that reduces slowly, leaving behind textbook lacing.
Tasting Notes: The aroma is delicious; with the recent occupation of the sherry immediately lightening the palate and elevating the classic 12 year Old smoky Worcestershire sauce, leather and coffee flavours to another level of smoky-‐sweetness and elegance. It’s refined rather than over the top and delightfully sweet and lingering in the palette.
Aged in oak casks formerly used to mature Highland Park 16 Year Old Single Malt Whisky, this thick, gloopy base beer takes on distinct whisky notes, perfectly complementing its roasty, toasty bitterness.

Ola Dubh 18 is what you get when you age Old Engine Oil in casks formerly used to mature Highland Park 18 (‘Best Spirit in the World’), which imparts a fruity, whisky character into our rich, dark beer.

Ola Dubh 1991 is the first in the annual Vintage Limited Edition Series. It is aged exclusively in Highland Park casks from 1991 and is bottled at full strength – a mighty 10.5% abv.
Tasting Notes: Sweet, smoky-sherry
This beer was made by taking Old Engine Oil (amped up to 10.5%) and aging it for up to 6 months in casks that previously held Highland Park’s phenomenal 30 Year Old single malt whisky.

To make Ola Dubh 40, they take Old Engine Oil (amped up to 10.5%) and age it for up to 6 months in casks that previously held Highland Park’s award winning 40 Year Old single malt whisky.
Tasting Notes: Chocolate, smokey, coffee
It’s the thick, dark, chocolatey viscosity that reveals the inspiration behind the name. They use loads of roasted malt to give it a rich black colour and add plenty of oats to smooth out the tannins and give it a creamy mouthfeel.
Tasting Notes: No aroma hops here, just Galena, East Kent Goldings and Fuggles for bittering. It’s just the job for anyone who appreciates beautifully engineered stuff that used to be made properly.
An unusual name for an unusual beer. A superb rich full bodied beer derived from a traditional Celtic recipe.
Tasting Notes: Wickedly smooth chocolate dominates the flavour, which is nicely balanced by the bitterness of the hops, making Old Engine Oil a delicious “after dinner” beer.
Our Head Brewer's no stranger to fine-tuning things to make them more powerful. Fuelled by his drive for perfection, he tinkered around in his overalls for ages to create this souped up version of Old Engine Oil. And at 9%, it fires on all cylinders
Tasting Notes: Heaps of roast barley adds darkness and thickness and oodles of oats smooth the bitterness.It lubricates the senses with scents of cocoa, malt and dark damsons then flavours of molasses, creamy chocolate and fruit. Oozing with character it;s also the base beer for Ola Dubh.
This light, slightly-sweet barrel-aged lager is the latest addition to the highly-acclaimed barrel-ageing project. Aged in casks from the renowned Speyside Distillery, Glenfarclas, a bottle of this will be just the ticket for a spring or summer evening.
Tasting Notes: It has a surprisingly robust, chewy mouthfeel that belies its light appearance, coating the palate with gentle-sweetness which in turn gives way to a pleasantly-bitter, drying (and slightly tangy) finish.

Like the famous mountain it takes it’s name from, Schiehallion brings intense reward for the sort who like to plant their flag at the very top.
Tasting Notes: The perfectly paired combination of wheat malt and lager malt is our secret for this ‘Champagne of Lagers’, providing an elegant head, luscious lacing and crisp palate. A lingering, fresh, grapefruity finish from the whole pressed hop cones tops it off.
A light straw coloured beer that has a bready and floral aroma that is complimented by a hint of vanilla. A good body carries fruity and floral notes to the pallet and has a nice subtle lingering aftertaste.

Tasting Notes: The nose is tropical fruit, orange squash and white bread. The taste is zesty citrus, lemon, tangerine peel, light soap, peppery hop and grass, with a bitter, slightly citric finish.
A world first beer. They’ve taken a pale ale and matured it for 5 months in Hungarian Tokaji barrels previously used for the world famous dessert wine. The result is a game changing sour beer with a difference.
Tasting Notes: Rich but tart, this sour develops in the pallet graduating from crisp citrus elements to a honeyed and slightly spicy finish.

A German style wheat beer that explodes with sunshine. This beer is infused with lemon verbena leaves, orange peel and coriander to further heighten its freshness.
