American Pale Ale named after the former naval shore battery overlooking Bathside Bay.
Tasting Notes: American style pale ale with oodles of cascade hops. Good bitterness levels followed by sweet hop taste and then the Cascade really kicks in for a real citrus aroma.
At a mere 3.6% ABV this beer combines a lovely light golden body with tons of hop character to challenge your taste buds and refresh your palette.
Tasting Notes: A massive tropical fruit aroma leads to a full orchestra of fruity hops with a satisfying finish that just leaves you wanting more.
A crisp, pale beer this alternative summer beer has a smooth pale malt base and crisp hops leading to a long dry finish.
Tasting Notes:
Brewed to commemorate the Centenary of the Electric Palace Cinema in Harwich this is a classic pale, hoppy premium ale – full of character but with a smooth finish.
Tasting Notes: Fruity hops dominate but never overwhelm and the finish is smooth and satisfying.
A lovely rounded, well-balanced amber beer with malt notes to accompany the orangey hops. A good old-fashioned drinking bitter with a modern twist.
Smooth traditional mild. A very deep reddish hue. Sweet tasting and mildly hopped, perfect after a hard day's work.
A hoppy Golden Ale
An easy drinking, full flavoured session beer, Copper coloured flavoured with American & English hops.
Tasting Notes: A full flavoured beer full made with pale malt and speciality grains and lightly hopped. Choice English hop varieties balance the sweetness of the malt making this a perfect session beer.
Best Bitter; Pale Malt, Crystal Malt and Roast Barley combine for a traditional copper coloured bitter flavoured with traditional Fuggles and Goldings hops.
A chance encounter with some different yeast led to this-one off brew. In order to ring the changes, it was brewed longer and with more hops than Leading Lights.
More heavily hopped robust porter in the new-world style. Influenced by US brewers, this porter combines the noble hops of Middle Europe with the best of US hops to create a smooth beer.
Tasting Notes: Mid Brown to almost black, with some red hues, this beer contains pale malt and will contain a proportion of roast, black or chocolate malts. Initial sweetness is balanced by later hop bite.
Smooth blond ale with controlled hop bite and plenty of aroma and taste reminiscent of old barley sugar.
Rich, dark and silky smooth, this jet-black beer with a tan-coloured head is an absolute delight. Drink with rich stews and game at room temperature in winter, or be daring and lightly chill it during the warmer months.
