First opened in 1980 our traditional sandstone pub is located on the site of a former wind mill. Inside one can find a find selection of 8 carefully kept real ales and an extensive menu of home cooked, real pub food. The beer garden is perfect to relax in on a warm summers day. There is also a fine selection of wines for the non-ale drinker.

Brewed to 4.4% ABV, Bass is still brewed to an original recipe using only the finest ingredients and the experience of generations. Bass is brewed with two strains of yeast to produce a complex nutty, malty taste with subtle hop undertone.

Tasting Notes: A medium-bodied complex nutty, biscuity malt taste with roasty, caramel aromas and classic earthy, subtly floral hop notes.
