Smooth, decidedly drinkable and surprisingly light, triple award winning Malt Dark Ale is distinctively different.
Tasting Notes: Smooth, light
Light and refreshing, Malt Golden Ale has a crisp citrus finish. Made with lager malt, it’s an ideal entry into the world of real ale.
Tasting Notes: It’s the Slovenian hop that gives this ale a citrus finish, making it an ideal source of refreshment.
All the ale is brewed using barley from the Icknield series. It’s then floor dried the traditional way in Warminster at Britain’s oldest working maltings.
Tasting Notes: A deep, complex and exceptionally moreish ale, Malt Icknield is a celebration of provenance and tradition. It’s made with all British hops.
The very easy to drink Malt Missenden Pale Ale is a lower strength session ale, with a beautiful balance between a biscuity malt base and a blend of three distinct hops.
Tasting Notes: Missenden Pale has a biscuity, malt aroma with an undertone of almond or marzipan, with a lovely bitter/sweet balance between the malt and hop bitterness.
One of our most popular beers, Starry Nights is a light, fruity ale with a dark side.
Tasting Notes: Pale and crystal malts combine with a fruity and floral hop bill to create a complex amber ale, with a surprisingly refreshing bitter finish.
A light yet flavoursome ale, Summer Daze is hopped with a New Zealand varietal that gives it a tropical fruitiness and distinctive aroma.
Tasting Notes: Summer Daze has big fruity flavours up-front, followed by a wave of hoppy bitterness, and finishing with a lingering biscuit sweetness.
Brewed with a respect for the recipe’s history, it’s an incredibly smooth and rich amber ale with a higher ABV than today’s session versions. Aromatic with a bitter finish, Voyager is fast becoming Malt The Brewery’s signature ale.
Tasting Notes: Crystal malts give Voyager a delicious bready body, with the classic IPA bitterness and aroma coming from a broad selection of hops. Expect some peach and stone fruit at first with a zesty citrus bitterness rounding it all off.
A rich ruby coloured ale, Malt Winter Ale is brewed with the colder months in mind and has a depth of flavour designed for the fire side.
Tasting Notes:
An incredibly smooth best bitter, Prestwood’s Best was brewed to celebrate Malt The Brewery’s first year of brewing.
Tasting Notes: It’s a moreish classic bitter that’s light chestnut in colour and has hints of caramel.
