Country Bitter 4.3

The recipe for Country''s distinct fruity taste is a testament to this when we carefully mix the Progress, Brambling Cross and English Fuggle hops. The addition of crystal malt to the pale ale malt creates a light colour and adds a nutty taste.

Tasting Notes:

IPA 4.8

Advantage is a light golden refreshing bitter made using East Anglian malted barley with a subtle blend of locally sourced caramalt, and also English whole leaf aroma hops giving subtle hints of fruit and berries.

Tasting Notes:

Jolly Roger 3.8

Jolly Roger is honey gold, well balanced and refreshing, with berries and spicy orange.

Tasting Notes: Berries, spicy, orange

Kapow 3.8

Full flavoured, big, juicy fruit hop characters give way to pineapple and mango in the finish.

Tasting Notes: Fruity

McMullen AK 3.7

This Original Mild has been continuously brewed in Hertford by six generations of McMullens for over 185 years.

Tasting Notes: A balanced mixture of pale, crystal and chocolate malts form the basis of this 3.7% amber cask ale, with one variety of Kentish hops - Witbread Goldings - adding bitterness and light aroma.

McMullens 3.8

This ale is inspired from over 180 years of brewing at The Whole Hop Brewery. Styrian Goldings added to English Fuggle hops achieve a refreshingly well-balanced combination.

Tasting Notes: The subtle biscuity flavour comes from pale ale and amber malts. Mixed with the citrus flavours of these hops, this creates a light and refreshing ale that all generations of ale drinkers will enjoy.
