Oakham Ales is a multi-award winning brewery with a worldwide reputation for its innovative approach and for the quality and consistency of its brews. Oakham started brewing in Rutland and is now based in Woodston, Peterborough. First brewery to brew a beer with 100% Citra hops. As well as Oakham’s well-known core range of beers (JHB/Inferno/Citra/Scarlet Macaw/Bishops Farewell and Green Devil IPA), the brewery continues to produce a long list of seasonal, special and cask aged beers in various formats: cask, keg, bottles and newly launched cans.

Black Magic 5.0

A sumptuous new porter.

Tasting Notes: Flavoured with Cholaca (100% pure cacao) and hopped with Cascade on top of a complex base of 7 different malts. Robust and rich, dark and decadent and supernaturally smooth.

Blue Skies IPA 6.0

Bold, exotic, citrus.

Tasting Notes: Grapefruit, blackcurrant and pineapple flavours dive through clouds of zesty lime in this sunburst golden beer.

Bona Nox 8.0

A beer packed with powerful citrus fruit and berry flavours and a rich aroma giving way to a warm afterglow.

Citra T90 4.6

An exciting new addition to the Oakham Citra family. Citra T90 is brewed with powerful T90 hop pellets for maximum aroma and flavour.

Tasting Notes: Exploding with tropical and citrus fruit hop character with a moreish bitter finish.

Cryptic 5.0

Gold in colour and bewilderingly full flavoured from Aussie sourced Vic. Secret and Enigma hops.

Tasting Notes: This inscrutable new IPA teases answers down and across your taste buds with aromas of peach and raspberry and a slight minty note. Tastes of fresh raspberries and summer pudding with an underlying bitterness to balance the sweetness. All on a perplexing light caramel malt base.

Tasting Notes: Rich roasted malt with hints of honey and raisin in the background plus trademark Oakham citrus hop flavours.

Dark chestnut beer brewed with barley, wheat and rye malts to give a complex malt flavour with robust American hops.

Tasting Notes: A golden beer bursting with grapefruit, lemon, apple and rose characters.

Dreamcatcher 6.9

Tasting Notes: This deep paprika red beer is bursting with blackberry, blackcurrant and black cherry flavours and aromas underlined with subtle caramelised malt. A delicate hint of marzipan rolls back up to the tip of the tongue before you’re left with a smooth, warming, yet dry finish.

El Dorado Simcoe 5.0

There are bucketsful (literally) of El Dorado and Simcoe (plus some Centennial) in this new USA hopped "Hop Slam", backed up by Maris Otter pale malt and plenty of Golden Oats.

Tasting Notes: Aromas of pear and ripe water melon, flavour of clementine, balanced with sweet, biscuit malt and a soft bitterness at the finish.

Elephant in The Kanha 5.2

Softer flavours and mouth feel characterise this excellent New England IPA.

Tasting Notes: Bold but not cloying sweetness accompanied by plenty of fruit hop flavours from the Belma and Cashmere hops - think tangerine and watermelon. Just enough bitterness to balance it all out plus a smooth and full mouthfeel.

Endless Summer 3.4

A pale golden beer with citrus, peach and pine flavours and aromas of stone fruit and mandarin, showcasing the new Eureka hop.

Obsidian Order 6.2

A brand new Black IPA brewed with two US monster hops.

Tasting Notes: Kicking off with rhyming aromas of coffee and toffee with hints of citrus pine in the background. On the palate the coffee/toffee flavours are enriched by hints of dark chocolate and caramel interspersed with a fresh citrus zing. Balanced, smooth and incredibly drinkable and refreshing for a 6.2% ABV beer.

Preacher 4.3

A strong pale ale featuring four excellent European hops sourced from Germany, France and Poland.

Tasting Notes: Fresh pear aromas with hints of white grape lead to fresh red berry flavours and a really refreshing summertime vibe. A clean bitterness and smooth mouthfeel complete another outstanding Oakham cask aged beer.

Oaple Orchard Reserve 6.8

Oaple Orchard Reserve is a dry robust full bodied cider with a heady apple fruit aroma and a dry finish.
