This lingering combination of pale Maris Otter malts and choice German hops may make you pause for thought. As you contemplate the gentle biscuit malts, fresh Hersbrucker hops seduce the taste buds educating and enlightening the palate.
Tasting Notes:
Premium Dry-Hopped Pale Ale
Tasting Notes: Latin for 'forever upwards' and signified by the soaring Yorkshire Red Kite. Three times SIBA national champion and the strongest beer in our core range. A classic pale ale, brewed from British pale malt and US Cascade hops. Smooth, fruity and full- bodied, with a deceptive bitterness to complement its alcohol strength. Refreshing citrus hop aromas complete the sensory pleasure.
This beer is dark, strong and well rounded; the richness of such a rotund beer is brought to an even keel by the late addition of Golding’s hops and natural plum flavouring.
Tasting Notes: Well-rounded porter with fruity, sweet notes over a backdrop of hoppy flavour. Deep red in colour but not in taste, the plum lightens the deepness on the palate.
From the very first draught, this pale hoppy ale will slake your thirst. Although this is a superb summer beer it is available all through the year.
Tasting Notes: A fusion of Maris Otter malts and Pilot and Fuggles hops explode on the palate as biscuit and juicy fruit flavours give way to citrus and berry hops, good hop aroma and hoppy after taste.
A rich red to black beer carefully crafted from the finest crystal and chocolate malts. This popular beer is available on a permanent basis.
Tasting Notes: Chewy juicy fruit flavours give way to a deep lingering bitterness provided by an abundance of Styrian Goldings, Millennium and Nugget hops.
A pale-straw-coloured, premium bitter from a centuries old recipe with simple, light malty-sweetness, delicately balanced with light bitterness and a floral, earthy character.
Thatchers Gold tastes as good as it looks. Using the best of our traditional approach and modern techniques for a refreshing cider with a smooth appley taste and a bright sparkle.
