The Peeping Tom, situated in Cromwell Lane, is one of Coventry's best known pubs. Inside has a spacious seating area and a home-from-home feel. Outside, the large and picturesque garden includes an outside dining area, perfect for al fresco dining along with a children's play area. One of the highlights of this popular venue is the weekend Carvery, offering a freshly cooked selection which includes Red Tractor farm assured British meat. There is history here in the guise of local resident Philip Sammons who lived two doors away as a boy and first worked at the pub as a 12-year-old glass collector in 1945. Now in his late 70's, he is still a very familiar face at the Peeping Tom. The pub has been demolished and rebuilt since those days, but the latest refurbishment recaptures the original spirit of this great local venue, with a superb atmosphere and a warm welcome for the whole community.
