The Port Arms is one of the oldest pubs in Deal located right on the beachfront with history tracing back to the 1600’s with stories of swashbuckling pirates and the tunnels that lay beneath where they snuck in their contraband!

On warmer days, our delightful patio is the perfect place for a cool drink and breathtaking sea views. During the cooler months come and relax by our roaring log fire in our cosy bar area. Sample a delicious meal from our mouthwatering menu or come and enjoy a night of karaoke or live music held regularly at The Port Arms.

For those needing a place to stay, we offer two letting rooms which offer stunning sea views and private ensuite bathrooms, perfect for those wanting to explore our beautiful town.

There is lots to see and do in Deal including visiting ancient castles, playing golf on our trio of golf courses (Princes, Royal Cinque Ports and Walmer and Kingsdown, fantastic fishing at Deals’s prize pier and scenic cliff walks appealing to ramblers and bike enthusiasts alike….we host many Club get togethers throughout the year.

Canterbury, Sandwich and Dover are nearby and can be reached by train, bus or a short car ride. The Port Arms is a 5 minute walk from the train station and is just around the corner from the bus station.
