Royal Oak

A child friendly pub serving food in Corsham .

The Royal Oak public house is ideally situated in the centre of the historic town of Corsham in Wiltshire. The building took its name in 1899, Royal Oak being the name given to the oak tree within which King Charles II of England hid to escape the Roundheads following the Battle of Worcester in 1651. The pub also currently offers one delightful bed and breakfast room on the first floor with its ownn ensuite bathroom. The current landlord and lady have recently refreshed and refurbished the room to offer flexible and comfortable accommodation.
