The Buck is a CAMRA award winning free house set in the Suffolk village of Rumburgh. A traditional village pub with a wealth of history and atmosphere it has a series of inter-connecting rooms which are on many different levels. The pub still retains many of its original features such as stone floors, oak beams, wood panelled walls and wooden bench seating which all adds to the undoubted character. The Buck has become renowned for its selection of real ales, and has been listed in CAMRA's Good Beer Guide every year since 2004. It is also included in The East Anglian Inventory of Outstanding and Historic Pub Interiors, and in July 2005 was voted CAMRA's Suffolk Rural Pub of the Month. In 2007 it was also voted Suffolk Pub of the Year by CAMRA. Home-cooked lunches and evening meals are served seven days a week from 12-2pm lunchtimes and 7-9pm during the evening. Using local produce, The Buck has a formal dining room or you can decide to dine in one of the many bar areas. Choose from an ever changing menu or from our daily specials board. Music is regularly featured at The Buck with the Cosy Bar home to many sessions, a wide range of styles of music are on offer every month. Rumburgh is also home to The Famous Old Glory Molly Dancers and Rumburgh Morris who both regularly perform at the pub. The Rumburgh Buck is a unique village free house which appeals to all ages, whether it's a game of darts or pool in the games room, cards, dominoes or shove ha'penny in the bar, dining in the dining room or relaxing with a drink in front of the fire, then there is sure to be something for you at The Buck.
