Salcombe Brewery Co.

A brewery in Kingsbridge.

Our new state of the art, innovative brewery sits amongst the Devon countryside looking towards the Salcombe Ria. The brewhouse is a unique concept built on the site of a decommissioned water reservoir. This utilises the natural ambient temperature of the underground facility for storing our ales at perfect conditioning temperature. Along with the upcoming installation of solar cells this helps make our brewery as energy efficient as possible. The site also has its own borehole which has recently started supplying the brewery with its own source of pure Devonian waters perfect for ale brewing.

The new brewhouse is a 20-barrel brewery with 4 fermenting vessels, capable of producing 350 x 9G casks per week. We’re really proud of our local surroundings and welcome visitors for tours or brew days for those interested in learning and sampling our ales. The Brewery Shop is open throughout the week from 10am to 4pm and on some Saturdays 10am -2pm, and sells beer, gift packs and branded merchandise.

The Brewhouse taproom can also be hired to host parties and corporate events in a unique setting. We also supply our beer for weddings, parties and other events in a variety of polypins and casks sizes
