Bitter, burnt raisins, fruitcake, dense melted dark chocolate and treacle, a little molasses. These meet a lot of heavily roasted malts in the mouth, burnt grain and wood. A lingering dry smoky flavour and assertively bitter .
Tasting Notes:
Deep copper in colour with a sweetish malt aroma and plenty of citrus hops. Caramel malt flavours, with a touch of red fruit and plenty more citrus hops in the finish.
Tasting Notes: Malty, Citrus, Hoppy
Nose has hints of sour citrus like lime and lemon peel, a touch of sweet fruit flesh, and a good lot of wheat like notes and barnyard grain. Juicy and tangy ripe citrus fruit in the mouth, a little pineapple mixed with notes of pinewood.
Tasting Notes: Citrus, Fruity, Floral
A distinctly hoppy aroma, citrus fruits, lemon, orange and grapefruit, there is an underlying malt aroma.
Tasting Notes: The taste is dry, with plenty of hop flavours, a tiny hint of floral hop, and then citrus fruit; again orange and lemon.
A ruby coloured ale with a complex fruity palette from the special malts used to give the beer its flavour, colour and body. Bramling Cross hops are used to give it a delicate bitterness leading to a fruity aftertaste.
Tasting Notes: Fruity, Nutty
